Myr Hotels

Based in Valencia (Spain) this hotel chain counts with just a few years years of history but it is already owner of some the most iconic buidings in the very heart of the city. Their facilities feature characteristically classic and elegant facades but their interiors have been completely refurbished in order to offer luxurious and modern suites with the best services for a high-class tourism that increases every season.

The naming Myr, comes from the co-founders surnames, Molina and Rojo. For that reason, it was decided to follow a script-style typography that both supports the concepts of signature and exclusive state-of-the-art hospitality.

Positioning as a hotel chain

The very first project was designing the whole identity for their first hotel located next to the central market in Valencia downtown. However, as we were told the firm planned to acquired more properties and open more branches we agreed it was necessary to create an identity for the whole group. That would become the common thread for all the different hotels although each one would feature a distinctive and unique branding. And more importantly, that identity would give a name for the local media to speak about the group's milestones and help audience to not only be aware of the brand but also bind it to the concept of luxurious and exclusive hospitality both in their minds and online queries on search engines and comparators.
